Dr. Masashi Ohira has been appointed as a Postdoc at the Olsen lab (MIT, US) (JSPS Overseas Research Fellow, Visiting faculty member at the Graduate School of Advanced Life Science, Hokkaido University).
Masashi Ohira and I have been working together since our days at the Institute for Solid State Physics, University of Tokyo, and have been actively researching DNA gels. He was the only staff member who could synthesize polymers in our lab, and he was very efficient with his experiments and enthusiastic about guiding students. He also worked hard with us to set up the lab at Hokkaido University.
I look forward to seeing you make further progress as you study in the wonderful yet strict environment of the Olsen lab. Please take care of yourself and do your best!
