On April 1, 2025, Dr. Takashi Yasuda was appointed as an Assistant Professor in our research group at the Faculty for Advanced Life Science, Hokkaido University, with an official letter of appointment issued by Dean Prof. Hisashi Haga.
Dr. Yasuda earned his Ph.D. through outstanding experimental physics research on topics such as the osmotic pressure of gels under the supervision of Professor Takamasa Sakai and Project Associate Professor Naoyuki Sakudo at the University of Tokyo. Since April 2024, he has joined our research group as a postdoctoral researcher and has been energetically advancing his research while studying scattering methods. We look forward to his continued success as a core member managing the lab with us.
He has also been a great help by regularly teaching polymer physics to the students. I hope to continue learning alongside him as well.
